This movie doesn't take itself too seriously like other super hero movies **cough, cough, Batman v Superman. This is definitely one of the funniest superhero movies to date. Known for directing other New Zealand movies; Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What you do in the Shadows, Waititi also dawned his acting hat playing fellow character Korg (in full Kiwi accent mind you). Korg was definitely the funniest character. Every time he came on screen you knew that you were about to be left in stitches with whatever he was about to say.

But because this film doesn't take itself to seriously, does it loose appeal to die hard comic book fans? Definitely not! Before seeing this film, I thought that the MCU couldn't get any better. But like most preconceptions when walking into a film, they're proved wrong.

Thor: Ragnarok is a great movie that everyone from any background or age will enjoy. Grab the popcorn, sit back and get ready to laugh your head off! 4 stars out of 5!
